Cat Socializing

The cat’s out of the bag

I’ve always connected with animals on a deeper level than most people. We seem to understand each other, forming a near-instant bond. One of the best compliments I receive is when I’m told a nervous or feral pet never goes up to or bonds with anyone–and then a few minutes later, I’m snuggling right up with them!

CAT SOCIALIZING

Who cat socializing is for

My cat socialization services are best for any fearful, feral or new kitties who need a little help socializing and getting settled into your home. Usually, I’ll work with shy or fearful cats to help them get adopted (if they’re with a foster) or will help with the post-adoption adjustment period.

I firmly believe no cat is ever "unadoptable." My goal is to help eliminate the fear, tension or emotional obstacles that are keeping them from feeling safe, loved and growing into their full beautiful potential.

INVESTMENT

Each animal is unique and needs their own time and patience to heal. That said, pricing will be determined following a Meet & Greet and assessment. If we move forward with working together after the Meet & Greet, I’ll create an action plan for both of us, including a cost estimate.

ADDITIONAL PREMIUMS

I’m happy to perform other duties in addition to the basic services outlined above.

Please note: There will be additional charges on weekends and the following holidays: New Year's Day, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day, Labor Day weekend, Halloween, Thanksgiving week and Christmas week.

What my clients are saying

"Kat has looked after our dog several times over the last few years. She’s a fantastic pet sitter. We don’t worry about a thing when we know she’s in charge....and the pup seems pretty happy too. She gives him lots of love and attention, and it’s extra comforting that she’s a vet tech and would know what to do if something were to go wrong. I would recommend her without reservation."
