Emergency Disaster Plan

Thunder Storms or High Winds (Inclement Weather)

ACTIVE CLIENTS: SERVICE IN PROGRESS

  • ​Every effort will be made to safely drive to client homes.

  • Your service schedule may need to be altered or interrupted due to weather conditions.

  • If road conditions make it impossible to drive to client homes, we will contact the emergency contacts you have provided and notify them that they will need to care for your pets.

We will notify clients when we have reached emergency contacts and confirmed they will care for pets.

PENDING CLIENTS

  • If you must travel and need pet sitting services, please call Kat's Dogs & More as far in advance of departure as possible to discuss the situation and possible options.

If necessary, your emergency contacts may initially care for you pets and Kat's Dogs & More will continue or complete the services as weather conditions allow.

Natural or Man-Made Disasters (Earthquake, Building Collapse) 

 

ACTIVE CLIENTS: SERVICE IN PROGRESS

  • Kat's Dogs & More will notify you as soon as possible after a disaster has occurred.

  • We recommend that you carry a Kat's Dogs & More business card with you when you travel to have all contact information. Call 714 318 7652 for updates on the disaster situation.

  • Your home and pets will be checked as soon as it is safely possible.

  • All pets in jeopardy will be taken to a safe location, provided proper permission has been given beforehand.

  • If travel conditions are dangerous, our emergency contacts will be notified to take care of your pets.

  • Your service schedule may need to be altered or interrupted due to disaster conditions. 

We may have to request that you return home as possible to resume care of your home and pets. If this is necessary, you must contact us as soon as you arrive.
